Vitoria, March 30th, 2020

These are exceptional times for all of us. Our thoughts go out to all of you and your loved ones, and we hope that you stay safe and healthy.

The health and safety of our employees is our top priority. At the same time, we also work to continue the service to our clients. To safeguard the production of our factories worldwide, Cartamundi has implemented additional health and safety measures and guidelines, many of which are stricter than government guidelines.

Despite these guidelines, we are currently unable to keep all of our factories operational. Various authorities impose severe restrictions.

Currently, four of Cartamundi factories in Waterford, Ireland, Pardi, India, and Dallas, Texas are now closed. No we have added our Heraclio Fournier Playing Card factory in Legutiano, Spain.

At this moment, the Cartamundi facilities in Japan, Brazil, Germany, Poland, France, and Belgium are operational. It is, however, possible that the capacity in these facilities is reduced for reasons of health and safety or the availability of raw materials.

Despite all of the Catamundi guidelines, we are currently unable to keep all of our factories operational. Several authorities impose non-essential businesses to cease operations temporarily. As a result, the following Cartamundi facilities are currently closed.;

The Cartamundi factory in Waterford, Ireland, is scheduled to resume activities on Monday, April 13, 2020

The Fournier facility in Vitoria, Spain, and the Parksons Cartamundi facility in Pardi, India, are closed until April 14, 2020.

In the US, our facility in Dallas, Texas, is scheduled to restart production for non-essential business on April 6, 2020, and the East Longmeadow, Massachusetts facility is planned to restart operations on April 8, 2020. The United States Playing Card Company in Erlanger, Kentucky, is now closed temporarily.

After the ROYAL DECREE LAW 10/2020, we closed our facilities Vitoria, Spain, until April 14. Meanwhile, part of our workers can provide service via telework, as we have been doing up to this date.

We will continue to assess the situation and will work closely with you, our customers and partners, to identify your needs and identified.

Maintain communication on any significant changes, and as soon as the situation subsides, of course, we will return to normal.

Thank you for your continued support!
